FAQ
1. How long until my services start?
Most participants begin within a few days, depending on NDIS confirmation. We’ll guide you through every step.
2. What if I don’t have my NDIS plan yet?
That’s okay; we can still provide guidance and support while you wait.
3. Do I need to complete the referral form on my own?
No; our team can walk you through it and even help you fill it out over the phone. We make it simple and stress-free.
4. Am I locked in once I sign a Service Agreement?
Not at all. You’re in control. You can make changes anytime if your needs or goals shift.
5. Can my family or carer be involved?
Absolutely. We welcome families and carers in the process; your support circle matters to us.
6. Do you provide therapy services under the NDIS?
7. How can NDIS plan management in NSW help me?
NDIS plan management in NSW helps you handle invoices, track budgets, and make the most of your funding without dealing with complicated paperwork.
8. What is the difference between PBS (Positive Behaviour Support) and Psychology therapy sessions?
PBS (Positive Behaviour Support) and psychology therapy sessions both support emotional and behavioural wellbeing; but they have different focuses and approaches:
- PBS is a proactive, practical support plan for people whose behaviours may impact their quality of life or others around them. A PBS practitioner works to understand why certain behaviours happen (the triggers, needs, or patterns) and creates strategies to reduce challenging behaviours and build skills in daily life. PBS is often delivered in home, school, or community settings and is commonly used in NDIS plans.
- Psychology sessions, on the other hand, are typically one-on-one talk-based therapies delivered by registered psychologists. These sessions help individuals explore their emotions, thoughts, past experiences, and mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, or trauma; often using therapeutic approaches like CBT, ACT, or mindfulness.
In short:
PBS is behaviour-focused, skill-building, and environment-based.
Psychology is emotion-focused, insight-building, and therapy-based.
